>Home Many James Thacker Mountaineering courses are delivered in the Derbyshire Peak District close to the village of Hathersage. This area offers good access to the classic climbing areas of the Eastern Edges as well as the moorland of Kinder Scout. Travel to Hathersage: The area is well linked to the major motorway networks, the village being quite close to the M1 and easily accessible from both Sheffield or Chesterfield to the East or Manchester to the West.
