Stanage Edge..

It's been a great day out in the Peak this afternoon, with clear skies and cool conditions - ideal for the grit.

Tom Stewart and I decided to head to Stanage Edge, where we were joined by Dave Hollinger. We managed a quick session climbing/thrutching up 'Providence' E1 5c, 'The Dangler' E2 5c and 'The Tippler' E1 5b, punctuated by a bit of "banter". Essential when somebody is struggling up a wide jamming roof crack!

November's Climb Magazine has also recently hit the shops, and it's well worth having a look at Adam Longs account of James McHaffie and Ben Bransby's ascent of 'The Voie Petit' on the Grand Capucin.
