The weather has been a mix of sunshine and sometimes heavy showers over the last few days. Although our blogs have been sparse (due to a nasty accident with my laptop), activity hasn't been, with many folk out and about on the eastern edges. Over the weekend, Jules Barret and myself were over in North Wales working on a Mountain Leader Training course for our collegues at Adventure Unlimited. Following a day looking at safety and movement on steep ground, including an ascent of Tryfan, we also managed to fit in a river crossing (pictured).
Early in the week Simon and myself also visited a couple of lesser known venues, practicing rope access and work positioning techniques, prior to Simon's latest project for the RSPB.
The weather forecast currently suggests that Thursday and Friday are likely to see some heavy rain, although it's allegedly improving towards the weekend..
