The weather has been great in the Lake District for the last few days following a of period rain. On Thursday, Darran and myself visited Gimmer Crag in Langdale to climb the fantastic combination of 'Intern' (E1) and 'Whit's End Direct' (E1). The crag was generally dry with some seepage around 'Kipling Groove'.
Other parties climbed the classic 'Bowfell Buttress' (VD) and various routes at Raven Crag, although they both reported a little seepage in places. Any wet areas are, however, generally avoidable and the situation will only improve with a good forecast for the weekend in many areas.
