The weather has been fairly mixed over the last couple of days, with some heavy rain at times. Gales were also forecast for today, although only strong winds arrived resulting in some fast drying gritstone on the Eastern Edges. There were a few teams out on Stanage, Burbage etc this evening, making the most of the break in the weather.

The forecast continues to be fairly mixed for the next few days. The sheltered venues of Stoney Middleton, Lawrencefield, Birchens and Froggatt are probably good bets in the current conditions. There is still plenty of climbing to be done if your keen...
