A great day in the Peak District today; a fine sunny day with no showers for a change. Quite a few people were out and about. We noticed a number of parties climbing at Ravensdale (pictured) in Cressbrook Dale, following the recent lifting of the bird ban last month. The recent rain means that the River Wye is quite high, sadly making climbing at Rubicon and Water-cum-Jolly very difficult. At a guess this will also mean that some of the crags in Chee Dale will be difficult to get to...
