The eastern side of the Peak District seemed to miss the showers this evening, allowing a few parties to tick routes on the grit. Stanage, Curbar and Froggatt were all popular with teams bouldering as well as roped climbing. The picture on the left is of Windy Buttress at Stoney Middleton which is particularly dry at the moment, despite the frequent showers. In addition, the fantastic traverse line of 'The Pendulum" on Garage Buttress is always a good option for the keen in wet weather. The forecast suggests a brief break in the weather tomorrow...
